Is the R3T really a piece of junk?

When I was a kid in school Honda was America's best selling bike and second best was used Hondas! now HD has stole the crown. We went from modern, RELIABLE, technology to Harley freakin Davidson! It explains to me everything wrong with this country. we're stupid lemmings and to prove it i've owned 3 harleys and 0 hondas. Being shorter than average I never considered either bike but whatever possessed me to demo the 06 r3 on the floor the thrust of that bike ruined me. I owned a 2013 se speed triple that's supposed to be faster but it sure didn't feel like it. I like having 2 bikes that are designed for different purpose it keeps both in the rotation, I never rode a valk but both IMG_0134.JPG bikes look like big, fat, standards waiting for someone to finish them. I guess i'm saying if you have one you don't need the other. I traded mine on the GTL and it's a great bike but the day my wife quits riding with me i'm trading back.

Really, if you have a Valk, and even a R3, you could appreciate both. They are both wonderful bikes.

I like them all and the 1600 is in typical BMW fashion 'without soul' as they say, it just does it's business and stays out of the way for the most part.

Modern Hondas are soulless too....they go fine, they do what you need, but you never feel like you've ridden something special.

Yes, unfortunately, when Joy Boyd had his fatal accident, it seems the recipe for designing a bike that struck the heart and soul of America was lost. Honda makes great motorcycles, they are just not so great looking anymore.

Yup the Honda F6C, the cruiser version of the Goldwing is easily on par visually with the Rocket. The new Valkyrie, does not exactly take my breath away.
