The Touring has been using the same detuned tune since its inception in 2008. We have a hot rod tune that gives you back 30 HP. Send me or Hanso a PM and we will get you that tune.

Yes the map is adjustable. With TuneECU it's only $20 for the cable, Tuneboy is more expensive, but can get you an extra 2000 rpms. A tuner who knows how to use either can get you more power without a Power Commander, or similar device.
Hotter cams don't necessarily make the low end unfriendly. With my 265 hp package the bike is still very calm below 4500 rpms, and will walk away from sport bikes when you get into the power band. She's the best of both worlds now. I love my bipolar b!tch!
A stock R3T makes 95 HP and can be retuned with a Carpenter exhaust and better intake to produce 165 + HP for a 70 hp gain and a 40lb weight loss for a MONSTER INCREASE in performance and KING of the baggers

Yeah Dude I think you missed my point I understand how Tuneecu works I use it ...the guy was suggesting if you take your bike to a rolling road dude and they can perform magic and tune it for 30 more ponies ..this is not true you need software or hardware to do it ..the Rocket keihin ECU is not adjustable ...tuneecu is OR other hardware makes it adjustable

I guess I did misunderstand. But no ecu can be adjusted without some software, and hardware. It's not like a carburetor, you can't just take it apart with a screwdriver.
But for $20 to get the hardware (lonlec cable), and a free download of TuneECU (software), you wind up with plenty of bang for your buck.
