While his statement is very inaccurate, his point is not.
Take a 2015 S1000RR premium with slicks on it and run it against a motogp bike from 10 years ago, see what happens.
Also, for the uninformed, the S1000RR is not just electronic trickery, it required the development of two never before created alloys, new manufacturing techniques not before used, and new testing machines for the quality control way beyond the accuracy of any previously used by BMW.
It is by all accounts a mechanical marvel, 193 wheel horse power from 999cc NA with a warranty....
Think about a rocket with the same engine efficiency, it would be right around 440 whp....
That said, imo most people who think TC,DST,anti wheelie, DDC etc etc are just nannies taking the fun out are just scared of change, same as anti ABS folks, same as anti fuel injection folks.
