Instrument cluster gone bad ?

Yes, everything worked fine before I started.

Of course, to have clear working room with the cams, I disconnected everything I could - including unclipping the tank sub-harness so I could remove the tank.

I have the multi-meter at the ready, and will have at it.

Thank you all !!!

IMHO start with the easy things suggested.. unplug check then replug all connectors, fuses, check grounds, etc. Check for pinched wires that may have been caught tightening things down.
Might want to also look at the Speed sensor it is on the bottom of the trans and could be damaged by using a jack to lift the bike.

Does anyone know if a corrupt TuneECU download could cause such a problem?

..... I have no speedo, nor odo. .... And I note I have lost the self-cancelling feature of the turn signals.

..... And the GI Pro gear indicator went on the fritz too. .....

As I re-read, digest and comprehend I believe your speed sender is source of the problem, affecting ALL of the symptoms you mention
per rng3, definitely check the speed sender
Did you check for malfunction code with TuneECU?

Repeatedly used TuneECU through my work, and no codes thrown, except the one time I forgot to plug in the AIT.

Thank you so much for following this.

Is there another way to check the speed sensor other than the ECU ?

And I did have an "accident" with my jack that *could have* hit something underneath.

I can't speak for your version of the GI Pro as mine hooks to the GPS. If it lights up, you may have to teach the gears. That's the way mine is anyway.

I have to agree ...we that many things malfunctioning it has to be something common to the function of them all.

@Joesmoe , I doubt you hit anything Paul but just in case left side of the bike is the speed sensor it is just in front of the sidestand bumper my finger below. The arrow is where you had that fancy jack thingy. Hope this helps :D
