I'm going darkside tomorrow

It's funny, I rode a V-Max with a worn tire that was worn flat down the center, it didn't want to corner at all. It rode terrible and tried to stay in a straight line ALL the time.
The R3 with a much wider and flatter tire doesn't do any of that. Something about the R3 is totally different than the lighter and shorter V-Max that makes car tires just work, must be the weight?

I thought long and hard about what I wanted before I ordered it. I was ready to get the 225 and up to the time I was going to pull the trigger on the 225 I just knew I needed the 245. I figured with the few mods I've done will offset any weight and mass added with the 245. Plus that huge fattie will look great back there, it'll give the other bikers something to look at while I kick sand in their face when I pass them. :D
I run a 245 don't worry you will love it and for your weight Start at 28psi and I doubt you will want to increase it I weight about 240 and run 32psi but will probally drop when I get my new tyre this week the Toyo I have just about worn out had softer sidewalls than most others and I found I need 2 extra psi to avoid it, I have no trouble flicking it from side to side so stick to 245 you will love it, just take it steady till you get used to it and don't think about it being square cos it will still have a bigger footprint than the crappy Metz ever did:cool:

My rear tire is nearly shot AGAIN so im pondering darkside  hmmm what to do what to do
you'll need the Darkside grip once you put the headers and that tune I gave you!!!
Oh by the way ask Sam to put the O2 plug in I did and the tune runs better with the O2 box checked, Wayne wrote that tune for the prediters which did not have O2 senor plug;)

Just think Mitch we could get on either side of Richard (canberraR3) drown him in the pure harmony that only Staitunes With Sam's Headers can make and if you were to "Come Over To The DARKSIDE LUKE errr! I mean Mitch" we would Also make his Avon look insignificant!!!!! :D:D:D:D:D:D

I feel the darkside calling me I can't resist anylonger lol so ok tell me again which tires and sizes u use mate I'm gonna give the entire package a go

I am here: Google Maps
OK nI'm running a Shinko 757 150/80/17 on the front it just steers handles and even wears better than the metz.
on the rear I am currently running my shocks a bit firm because my Toyo Proxes T1R 245/ 55 /16 (almost worn out 16,000 hard Klm's) hits the wiring under the guard if the shock was to bottom I have on order and it should arrive in the next day or so a Federal 595 245/50/16 it looks the goods and all the reviews on the tyre say it's a gripper and that's what I want;)
