Ignition Switch, I didn't know !

Hey guys, I'm new to this, and everyone knows, but I didn't. Took my 05 R3 in for some service at Doug Douglas in San Berdardino, the tech saw that I had shut the bike down using the kill switch and asked if I do that alot, which I do. He told me that I should only shut down using the ignition switch which alows the computer to reprogram itself, and the kill switch is for emergency only, which shuts down all electrical...Good people there and real helpful.

..I shut it down by putting the kickstand down while it's in first gear..keeps ya from forgetting to put it down when ya get off.. :shock: ..don't ask me how I know.. ..

I haven't RTFM, Cause I don't have one... It's on my list after belly pan, Oxtar boots, New radiator grill, risers, exhaust, eye brows, Tires, winning lotto ticket, and a few more minor options... "Eye's to the Horizon"

Sorry the delay constant (lambda) only allows me 10E-5 seconds.

If we can go prompt critical I can improve that to 10E-23seconds per decade! :shock: BOOM!
