If there was 2 things you could add or change on the Rocket 3 what would they be?

(1) On the R3T a lockable but quicker seat removal system , having to take the panniers off to get to the seat mounting bolts is a Pita

I just open my lids and use a 6" long allen socket and ratchet.

Now for my 2 improvements:
1. Since the tank is so wide I would space the shifter assembly out an additional 2" rather then have to turn my toes inward to hit the shifter.

2. A bit more lighting out back.

Not sure on your bike, but I just need to open the lids to get at the Allen bolts.

Yes you can get at the mounting bolts with the lids open ,the bolts are at an angle and hamfisted blokes like me would rather take the panniers of rather than have a whoopsie and scratch/break the pannier lids ,I like the idea of just a key turn and pull the seat back and bingo .I would hate to have to get to the battery in a hurry if it shorted out and was burning out the wiring , hello Shannon's Insurance!:eek:

Got me thinking, went out to the shed and made a special tool out of a 150mm long 6mm Allen key and a 5 mm allen key stub for the rear fender seat mount, a couple of tacks with the welder and into the tool roll , it is much easier with the lids open thanks BD.
