Identifying idiot lights

I disconnected the battery for a move cross-country. I have the battery cables re-connected. However, now there is a cord w/ several inputs that doesn't seem to have a corresponding male end anywhere under the seat in the battery compartment. Does anyone have a photo or words on what should be plugged into it?

Welcome to the site! Don't worry, that cable you are seeing is actually the cable that you use to connect to a Laptop with a special cable... just tuck it away and forget about it... you'll probably find some posts later that show how you use that cable to read codes and do diagnostics on the bike.

If your bike is stock no other electric adds, then you will have more ground connections then positive ones... should at least have main ground cable and one more ring connector with 2-4 black wires crimped to it.
