I need to raise my gas tank. Help please?

If you need a tiny bit more height you can also use a length of 2x4 (kind of redneckish but it works)from the top of the engine to the bottom of the gas tank, just be careful where you put the ends. ;) That rod had to be an afterthought.

ETA: While you are doing things you may want to drill and secure your side panels and put some silicone on your side panel grommets. A lost side panel is pretty spendy.

Need some help

Thanks Bob. Sounds like "the thing" to do... Russell
You need to get your hands dirty. Take all the notes and ask all the question. Grab some tools and get busy! I would be surprised if you run into something you can't figure out. There is nothing "hard" about lifting your gas tank, and putting new filters on. Sorry to be blunt, butt it's the only way.

You're both right, and I don't mind getting my hands dirty, ( very dirty ). I just want to benefit from all your experiences, because my Rocket is "perfect" now. Perfectly "stock". I'd just rather leave it alone, than screw anything up. Unfortunately, here in El Paso, the Triumph dealership seems to know even less than me. Now that's really scary!!! So, I just want to make sure I know what I'm doing, ( first ). And, yes, I've watched that YouTube video on installing the RamAir system 10 times, and I was going to buy that RamAir system too, but then I heard the K&N RU-2780's are better, and that the RamAir system has some design weaknesses, and the RamAir system isn't as water repellant as some people think it should be. So, I'm going to buy the K&N's now, but the value of watching that video was not lost on me. Removing the stock air box, and installing the K&N's should be nearly the same procedure. I haven't found a video specifically showing the installation of the K&N's on an R3... Russell
