I know this (SEAT QUESTION) has been asked before......

I put a Mustang passenger pad on my standard. I used the pad from my Honda VTX 1800, just removed the mustang bracket and fastened it to the Rocket backseat bracket. My wife finds it really comfortable. it is now on my 14 Touring.

I found the Longhaul Touring saddle by Triumph to be barely tolerable on high mileage days and absolute torture when I took trips and put in multiple long days in a row... tried the Air Hawk But it did not help much either I believe it’s because of the way the Triumph saddles angle you down toward the tank.

I recently put a Clear Shields 25" tall shield on my 2013 Roadster, and I can't get to liking it. Too much wind deflection on the steering. Road it the other day, in some wind, for 50 miles, and my arms were sore, and hands were cramping, from trying to keep it straight. Might be nice in the rain, but I dunno????

WOW! 25 inch is way tall!
R U an Orangutan?
Are you looking through the shield?
I sit taller than most and mine is 22 inches.
Are you measuring from the top (highest) part of the headlight cut-out to the top of the shield?

I'm 6'2" and 25" was the listing on the Clear View web site. The top edge of the shield is at my eye level. Looking straight ahead, I'm looking over the top edge. Looking down in front of the front wheel, I'm looking through the windshield. I had a stock Triumph shield, and the wind coming off the top of it, blew straight into my face.

Your height has nothing to do with proper shield height. Tis your seated eye height that's the controlling factor.
My suggestion is to sit upright on your bike. From your front axle measure 30 feet forward & place a marker on the pavement.
The top of your shield should be in line, or just below, your sight line to the pavement at that marker.

Thanks for the info, that's about exactly the setup I have. Acording to the Clearview site, 25" is 5" taller than the stock Triumph shield that they claim is 20". Also, I've discussed this with some Harley riders, and the ones that have their shields connected to the forks, have the same complaint as me. The ones that have the shield fairing connected to the frame say it's great.

Any windshield or fairing attached to the forks can create high speed stability problems. One gust of wind when your in the dead zone and at the very least your buying new drawers. I'm not saying you can not run them at high speeds just that I have noticed more stability problems especially above 150. Try the roadster screen at 169 get hit by a gust of crosswind and if your like me you won't do that again !!!!!

Try lower wind deflectors they make a massive difference to buffeting on my 07 std with the touring screen

I ride 2 up about 70% of the time. I have the wide pad on my backrest (like the touring), passenger floorboards and I've redone the seat. The stock suspension works fine 2up, better than solo.
