That’s correct. It’s not that he parks in the bike parking, it’s the way he parks in the bike parking. Where there is little more than a single car space it’s a bit rude to plonk a rig in the middle of it. Technically of course only the motorcycle part should actually be in the motorcycle park and I’d be surprised if he got a ticket for the side car being outside the line. Hey, I’ve only been personally inconvenienced once, and at the time I had no love for him at all, but I’ve seen it a few times.

Arh, but legally they are registered as motorcycles, but yes etiquette requires reverse parking into the free end of a 'car' park space to leave room for more bikes. Otherwise they take 2 'bike' spaces legally.
My '78 R100RS outfit has been 'off the road' for years.
I do have a spare set of Bing 40mm carbs to throw on it though.
