How to improve your Rocket's rear visibility, beautifully

Dear Rocketeers,
The Rocket's rear light is pretty effective, and it is also rather a fetching and integrated design. However, a bit of extra running light and brake light can never go astray - and then there is the odd empty space between the rear mudguard and the number plate to be filled. So, having placed my number plate into a terrific chrome frame, I bought a lozenge shaped LED combined running/brake/numberplate light which fitted exactly into the empty space. An auto electrician wired it up and disconnected the stock numberplate light - an easy job for an expert.
You should be able to find a suitable light from your local Harley dealer - I found a clear lens light with red LEDs (and blue ones for the plate). See picture below (loaded for me by our sterling Administrator, Slartibartfast).

I have done a night run with a mate following, and he confirms that the second and separate (and very different) light is both effective and beautiful (rather like a Rocket III....)
Cheers,

Just got my Rocket back with a LED bulb fitted and it's a quick cheap and effective fix. A lot brighter than the standard.

And of course then discovered modulating rear lights which i just had to have. Best thing so far, the flashing is much more likely to be seen.

Nice find, Trumpet - just designed & ordered myself a new plate.

If anyone else wants one, I can order it & get 50% off the price if I order in the next 7 days.
