How far off is your speedometer

Well, I am the odd ball oit. My speedo reads 74 and I am foing 70 on the GPS. Mines is running 4 mph slow.
 
I was running 87mph in an 80mph zone out in west Tx. The officer said I was running 95 when I went by him while he was stopped. He said he was running 100+ and not catching me. Went about 10 miles before slowed coming into a town.

PS I wasn't trying to speed. Just taking a nice ride. These bikes shouldn't be so comfortable at higher speeds.

i hate to correct someone but if you are going 70 and your speedo is reading 74 your speedo is fast. mine is also 10% fast.

that should have been just about right. did you ask him if he finished his donut before he started to chase you!

I look at as I am going slower than what the speedometer is saying. But OK, the speedo is faster than the GPS
 
The speedo is off. You have to use TuneECU to "fix" it.

I have a good Friend who is a retired Command Sargent Major and now works for DOD at Huachuca. We flew together in Vietnam. Sneaky peak stuff
I also knew an account there at the VA when I worked at the Prescott VA.
