How do i adjust the fuel light on an 05?

Been thinking about cutting open a oil tank for some pictures as it is hard to see much in one with the scope.

Why yes he Did cut it open just to show ME and the MEXICAN what it looks like. This is the second time he has done this for the MEXICAN. He has it welded back together and painted and back on the bike. Just want say a BIG THANK YOU to warp for all his help.

I got down to about a gallon and a half and the display reckoned I had 85 miles left, I did not get a low fuel warning, but the gauge was hovering around a quarter tank. I don't know where the low fuel warning OUGHT to come on, but 135 miles seems inordinately pessimistic.

It is pretty much spot on with mine John. It doesn't get squat for fuel mileage and the darned rear tires keep wearing out prematurely.

Don't have a clue what is causing either issue

The dealer here in town knows about Rockets as much as i know about quantum physics , they may had something to do with it when they replaced the fuel filters

Dang, that's some bad luck. It looks like they ham fisted both of them the same way. Looks like the only two choices are going into them and fixing the problem or learning to live with it.

We were going to come see you yesterday sonny. But the black rocket lost the race and needed more work. Yes the red rocket is faster. I still am not telling if the fat guy or skinny guy was on the black or red rocket. But I will tell you the red rocket left the black rocket feeling like a Harley Davidson
