Ya they work well and the updraft helps keep them flying critters from ripping your face off

Only thing the flyscreen is good for is keeping the bugs off your gauges, anything else is purely cosmetic..

Good idea, remove it and sell it to me as I just scratched my red stripe flyscreen
You can get a custom pair of stainless steel polished or powdercoated black flyscreen brackets that tilt the screen about 1" forward and makes key access easier. Available from Dave Gill at Rocke's Patches in UK and Toyota6510 on eBay. He is a UK R3 nut who has multiple Face Book R3 websites.

He also has an XL version of the R3 fly that I have fitted now as does @1olbull and it is much more effective as a long distance screen.

So, so true, Ish!
My XL Fly has allowed me to eliminate my triumph shield for all long trips!
Another benny, is that I get about 10 more mph on top end!!!
My only slight issue is my XL Fly is not symmetrical.
It does not set equidistant between the bars and the large bulge is not centered or a consistent radius.
Functionally it is GREAT! My eyes are just bugged a tad looking at the non symmetry.
All in all, I would definitely buy another!
