You can service the caliper without having to remove the base. Easy to blast it with cleaner and air. I'v discovered the importance of caliper hygiene without a catastrophe. Will the stock brake line work? Looks like it would. Plus the caliper is in the air in case it starts to get hot. Aluminum or SS?
