@BigNorm The bars and engine guard looks great. Very stout. Are the bars threaded at the bottom of the risers? The risers are so wicket tall they look like extensions of the fork tubes. Hope you are healing nicely and looking forward to another great season.

Nice. I bet you could hang a hammock on those to the pasenger backrest...no tent needed while traveling.

I have. I've yet to get them chromed though. They are very comfortable. I haven't ridden alot since my accident. All of the sudden I realize I am mortal. Tough lesson to learn.

Just got my R3 Touring. Bought in from out of state. Was hoping that it might fit better than my VTX1800R. Like my 1800, I've put handle bar risers which bring the bar higher and closer, but I put them on backwards pushing them out. That helps. I've also gone with extended hi way pegs. Another win. On my VTX, I put in fork extender inserts. Counter-intuitive, but that also helped. Going to go with a Mustang seat that lowers 1/2" and pushes back 1". Any other suggestions to make this moped fit my 6'8" self?

A lower seat? I'm 6-2 with long legs and I find that a higher seat is more comfortable than lower. A higher seat means less knee bend, lower knees in relation to your hips, and less pressure on the tail bone. The first pic is testing for comfort with a slab of foam on top of the stock seat. The second pic is my Russell Day-Long built on the stock seat pan. My preference is to sit forward on the bike. The seat isn't pretty, but so functional, imo. I also have fitted long shocks and forward pegs, but kept the stock handlebars.
