Just found out the new Harley Davidson Street 500 is made totally in India, The Royal Enfield Bullet has been made there for decades and has evolved into a decent bike, and from all accounts the little Harley is a great learner legal ride and less than Au$10000 ride away a nice little bike for he money

Did you read the reviews on the HD 500 and 750? what a turd!! Looks ok though.

Yes our OZ motorcycle Magazine "two Wheels " a heavily sponsored and bias toward Harley publication give it a fair wrap, they had a test report by an Asian lady who surprise surprise liked the bike they don't look too bad but are Tiny little things each to his own I say,

36 hp 40 NM torque na I'll pass
 
the piglets make 72hp/litre ... better than the full grown hogs (sans the liquid cooled twins of course)
 
I will still stick to my Royal Enfield curry burner. I'm sure that there will be some who will like their HD curry burners though.
