Has any one a ecu for a 2008 classic

T1299302 part no.

mines In bridge mc exeter with one that's faulty .

T1290102 is the older part number, might have better luck finding one of those lying around. Fowlers (LINK) have them in stock, new, at least.

There are a couple of used ones in the US too;
Option 1
Option 2
Option 3

Curious to know what's up with your own one, and how you're sure it is actually faulty?
(As there have been plenty of suspected but no confirmed ECUs gone faulty in my experience)

Any chance you could get someone with tuneecu to look at it, it seems odd that the ECU has failed, only time ive had an eco go is when I fried it trying to diy a keyless system on a GSX-R750. did it go in running ok? or duff?

the ecu almost never go bad.
i have seen a lot of cars/trucks with bad ecu's and the computers always blame some else:laugh:
tell us your problems/codes we might be able to help we have a lot of guys with a lot of know how.
good luck
city/state country?

There was a electrical fault a wire had broken on loom and burnt out blowing a few fuses , sorted that and cured issues then miss firing and very bad tick over , they tried new coils and plugs but no difference, the bike shop worked back to ecu . I don't know codes as its in workshop .
uk here

See if you can get codes off them, 1 it means they've scanned it and 2 it will give you and others on here an idea of what it is, if they can't get codes they could be correct that eco is bacon, but if fuses blew I would hope eco was protected, did main fuse pop?

main fuse didn't blow , head light fuse and sports etc fuse went , found a connection block under tank had a wire broken and burnt out , replaced and everything seamed OK, then after a few days miss firing and coughing , then total cut out on way to service , turn.off and on with key , started , did that 2 times on way , tick over is lumpy and after 2500 rpm it's missing, bridge mcs said code said coils had gone , replaced thoses and plugs still no.luck hence they said ecu .

I know when I rooted around under my tank the loom needed some serious tidying. up, removed all the crap and went keyless, found a few aux cables that were not required. There could still be an electrical issue in yours rather than ECU, maybe an auto electrician to do loom check? What you need to remember is power goes from battery via a fuse to fuse box then rest of bike, only power that comes from bike would be alternator to battery, so for ECU to get a power surge enough to fry it, it would mean it would have to possibly come from that broken wire back to ECU, which im slightly curious about, plus the ECU would be dead, dead, rather than letting it run rough, when I fried mine there was a horrible smell of burnt plastic from it and it was dead. Im not doubting the mechs, im just questioning the reasoning
