Help stuck on tuine ecu remap file

Tried having a read but dosent give me what I need to know.
Firstly can I save my oringal file from ecu .before attempting to send a file with tuine ecu?
Next I'm struggling on files . Because it's shows European for UK. But there's loads with same vin .ie av5456 below triumph rocket 3 2023 . In tuine ecu says map 31248.
But my last 9 digits are below .could anyone point me to correct map file .?

No, you can't save your original map, however the TuneECU site does have most of the stock maps available. Second, to work out which map you need, go into the TuneECU app as if you are going to flash your bike (ignition on, LX plugged in), then ECU->Connect, then after it connects, ECU->Informations and it will pop up a dialog that will list the map name you currently have. Mine was 31018 so I could search for that in the TuneECU custom maps page (at Custom Tunes) and see that my map version was in the "All Markets Rocket R No Restrictions 31018Map.hex" which aligned with my VIN (VIN # 971477 to and including VIN # AV5456) and region (Australia, so All Markets).

Also, I am assuming you have already paired the OBDLink LX, used the OBDLink app to update the firmware on the LX and connected to it in TuneECU to make sure it all works ok?

Like I asked before, what map does TuneECU say is in your bike now? You MUST connect to your bike to get that info. What you posted over on the FB TuneECU forum is info about a map file, so you have everyone running around telling you 31012 is what you need, but unless we get a screen cap or you tell us the loaded map on your bike is actually 31012 we are shooting in the dark. Your VIN is secondary as those numbers are sequential across ALL Rockets whether they are an R, a GT or one of the specials, whereas the ECU maps are specific to each version.

New to the thread. But having same issue, my map number is 31415 the new rocket GT storm.

I don't believe the base maps for 31415 (GT Storm) and 31416 (R Storm) are available for TuneECU yet. They certainly aren't listed on the site.

Well that sucks. Ben looking for someone in Ohio or close to me that I can trust to do a dyno tune but no luck…. Any ideas?
