IMHO the best leather wear is hand made by Langlitz Leather in Portland, OR!
Many police departments ride with their custom fit jackets. I have witnessed and investigated a number of motor cop crashes and this jacket protects superbly. I have had mine for many years and still wear it on rides where high heat is not a factor. Tis heavy and hot over 85 degrees. Textile mesh are more comfy, lighter and cooler. Textile crashworthiness is unknown to me.

Good idea if there was a mesh type leather with removable wind proof and a warm liner similar to my Olympic Air.

Was just an idea.

There is more and more perforated leather appearing.
Vanson do a massive selection. I have a Vanson Cobra.
Most of the European mfrs offer it now.

Very few offer it in pants though. I have a pair of Vanson ProPerf SportsRider.

I know very little about REVIT - but the guys at webbikeworld seem to be very taken with their gear.
