i ride a gsx1400 am going to buy r3 tourer it seems to be the bike that suits my wants and needs been trying to get atest ride on a new one nobody seems to carry them on the salesfloor took a 2009 model for a test ride felt good any difference to the later model

Welcome Grim from the Central coast of NSW ,I had a new GSX1400 back in 2002 a blue and white one, great bike and I reckon if they didn't stop making them I would have bought another one ,but the Rocket Touring is ke by far a better touring bike.

Hello Grim and welcome from Virginia. The biggest difference from older R3Ts is that in 2014 Triumph added ABS. I have used it at 85MPH and it works real good.

In OZ the 2011 R3T had ABS and yes it does work ,particularly well in the wet.
