Just out of curiosity, what is the name and location of the dipstick of a dealer that sent you out to test ride a bike that was improperly prepped/set up?

I don't about improperly set just time was limited not enough ride time to make up my mind I asked for another ride, not my style to call out dealers never burn bridges especially one I have not built yet.

Hello Pedro and welcome from VA. I have a 2014 R3T with around 5K miles on it now. From reading your posts in this thread, I would say you are going to be happiest with the R3R. You said you have your Vic CR for long haul stuff which is cool and that exact color of CR was on my short list prior to buying my Rocket. The Roadster will give you your short haul thrill and you can add bags too it. The Touring bags won’t fit as far as I know but there are many other specifically built for that bike. As for cornering, one just needs to ride the beast a few more times till you trust yourself and the bike when leaned over; like any other bike really.
Good luck in your search and look around for that good deal.

Welcome aboard. Only you can decide which Rocket is for you but there's no real limit to what you can attach to either. Bags, screens, seats, backrest, sound systems, anything you want really. No one can make up your mind for you but there have been some members on here who have wondered why they bought the Touring instead of a Roadster but I can't recall any who have said the opposite. That's not to say the Touring isn't exactly what most Touring owners wanted, but if you're in doubt I'd say the Roadster's the way to go.

G'day from one of the Aussies, the rockets are unique in the fact that they are the biggest gun in town ,I have ridden both a Roadster and a Touring and loved the performance of the roadster ,but wanted a touring bike that had tons of torque right off idle, I do plenty of two up riding and find the Tourer meets my needs, like uphill take offs two up no need to rev and slip the clutch it's just there, like a Locomotive and has all the giddee up go I need or want,I love rounding up solo Harleys and Victories on long up hill runs with two up in top gear with the big boy just ticking over, and listen to them changing down to catch us, and with a little genuine Triumph bling a Set of TORS and remap makes a nice ride ,

Thank you all for the reply's so what is it when comparing the RT and the RR that differ to make the difference in power, is it just a map or is it more like intake exhaust filter etc? I think the stock power of the RR3 is enough for me. If I wanted more I would be looking elsewhere Like ZX14 Ducati Diavel or Yamaha V max. But I love the motor on the Rocket. The looks in my opinion is stunning one of the best looking. Love the looks of the double head lights and the gauge set up, the small fairing just makes it look so mean.

Thanks for letting me know about your experience, I hope to be a proud owner soon.
