Ride
Victory Cross Roads Classic LE
Hello wanted to intro my self,My name is Pedro from MA. My Dream Bike is an R3, I have had several bikes the last few years ranging from a few sport bikes to 3 Victory's. My current Bike is a 2013 Victory Cross Roads Classic with a few mods.

I have been drawn to the R3 but have not tested one yet. My plan is for a new bike next spring and am in the learning stage as it goes with the R3. I have tried several other fast bikes the Busa ZX14 and the Diavel but did nothing for me. I love the Muscular look and the motor of the R3.

Any pointers and things to look for would be great. Thanks

Welcome from WA to THE BEST motor forum in the country!
If you ride a Rocket Roadster, you shall immediately find that your handle just does not cut it riding a Cross Roads. However, I do hear they are excellent motors.
If you wish to maintain proof of your handle, a large displacement sport bike or the comfort of the Rocket Roadster would be the way to go!

Hello and that's what I plan on doing, Big motor big muscle bike, going to test ride a R3T tomorrow just so my Victory dealer has one its like new a 13 with 150 miles and asking 14500 But my understanding is the power is down on the tour is that correct? I really like the R3R .
The Vic 106 is not shabby .

The Touring has plenty of power, what it lacks in H.P compared to the R3R it makes up for in torque.

Your gonna love it!

i have rode both so
after you ride the rocket you will think the 106 is shabby.

This is the one I will ride tomorrow , Ahh memories of when I was a Kid and brother would take me out in his Mustang 5.0 and scare the heck out me..

This is probably why I love this R3T has the same looks as my current Vic Classic not counting the motor of course...LOL

Yes, the R3T is tuned for greater torque than the Roadster, but significantly less horsepower. That condition is relatively easy to remedy via retuning and/or a few minor mods or by treating any Rocket III that you might choose to either an exhaust or engine upgrade package from this shop, which in the opinion of most the cognoscenti, is the best of breed performance shop in this hemisphere for our monsters: http://www.carpenterracing.com/sbp_TRIII.htm
