Hello, my name is...

Welcome from Indiana.

Just got my 2015 R3T last spring. I decided I wanted to open things up on mine and get the most out of the engine.

I decided to:
Install the Ramair to let her breath-on order
Paul Bryant's 1 into 2 cross over-on order
Triumph TORS- the CATS are in the standard pipes.
and a new tune.

I will probably Run two tunes. One for performance and another when I am touring. We will see.

Just make sure you do something about the cross over when you do pipes. Triumph's cross over design is crap.

I already put one tune in when I put the TORS on and it made a world of difference.

All the info is on this site. If you need direction just ask.

Another Brit welcome Concours. As others have said, this is the place to find all you'll need to know and make a real beast out of your machine.

Welcome from (right now no so sunny) Spain.

Before spending too much cash - be aware you can get quite a boost from a "T" just by putting in a Roadster tune. If you want more - the exhaust headers are a major restriction. Just fitting open end cans won't make THAT MUCH of a difference. There are lots of headers available. All better than stock - but you need to balance aesthetics and maybe factors like heat shields. Most of the header guys offer end cans and it makes sense to get a full system.

Now that it breathes out OK - allow it also to breathe in. Again lots of options. The major question is whether you want to to look stock or not. Depending on things like your height and how you sit when riding - some of the solutions CAN be a little intrusive.

BUT - allow me a tiny interjection. Sort the suspension out first.

Yeah, The old fashioned spaghetti forks vs USD is a big compromise. Victory made a commitment to use USD on their big cruisers, and they feel GOOD.
That said, "a good craftsman never blames his tools"....
For instance, my 2007 Triumph Tiger 1050 has many aftermarket suspension upgrades available, many riders say you NEED to upgrade, stock is horrible. I can report that on the frost heaved roads of New England, the Smokey Mountains, and this past spring in Ireland/Scotland/Isle of Man, the long travelling, compliant OEM suspension supported VERY exhilarating  speeds (UK speed cams aside:whitstling:).
I know on glass smooth roads at racetrack speeds, heavier springs & more damping would improve lap times.
So, I'll feel out the big T3R. Does anyone offer a TOP quality air suspension setup that isn't a "lay it on the asphalt" bling deal?

Welcome to the site from a fellow addict in 'Joisey, Captain concours.
Have a safe, healthy and happy New Year and do enjoy the ride!
