Hello from Tampa Florida

^^^ dangerous territory, 1 marries anothers high school sweetie And she ends up liking bikes.
Congrats and welcome, that parking lot maneuvering does get easier after awhile but that 240 tire don't get any smaller. I don't think I could pass the drivers exam on the beast but I feel pretty confident on it now.
The next question is after 39 tear hiatus from riding why didn't you do what every other middle age balding american man does and grow a goatee and buy a harley? they are the best you know.

Thanks Steve. The more I ride it, the easier it gets, but I get the feeling it will always be something of a handful at low speeds. I will have you know I have the balding, goatee part down just fine. As far as the Harley is concerned I don't have any problem with the bike, and I'm glad the company is doing fine. I just don't want to dress like a village people wannabe, and fill my house with HD nicknacks made in China. Also had bad experiences with the dealerships that acted like they were doing me a favor by letting me buy a bike with an extra 5K worth of cr@p on it I didn't want. Now I did take a hard look at the 2016 Indian chief dark horse, but the dealer was too far away. I think Indian is going to steal a few sales from HD, but they will always have the hardcore guys who won't ride anything else.

Will be picking up my new Rocket tomorrow (unless it's raining). Glad to find an owners group as good as this one. To say Im a little excited about being on a bike again would be an understatement.
Hey "X", Welcome from Sunny South Florida! I think you'll like our little asylum here.

I should be getting down your way in a month or so - need to re-up my cigar stash in Ybor City.
