I just purchased a 2005 Triumph Rocket with 3600k on it and can't get enought of riding it. I also hafe a Buell Ulysses that is now up for sale but love this bike as well. I just recently road a friends 2010 Road King and thought to myself that this thing is big. Then the other day after going for a ride on the Rocket I went to the same friends house to have him take a look at my new ride. We road out to a few places then on the way back I asked if he wanted to check out the Rocket. Funny things happen when you go from a Buell to a Roadking then to a Rocket. I got on his Roadking for the ride home and thought to myself " Man this thing is not as big as I remembered ". I will miss my Buell Ulysses but am looking foward to my new adventures on thee Rocket. I am now looking for a Sissybar, Luggage rack and a set of saddle bags so if you have anything you can recommend that would be great.

The Triumph sissy bar is common, it comes in tall and short. I have Kdrive bags and like them fine, I'd recommend the larger version rather than the ones I ended up with. The larger bags are of course bigger and they have security locks for the lids and to the bike. They are easy to remove and the chrome bracket looks good without the bags.
Lots of bags out there to choose from, Kdrives are just one to consider.

Welcome from Molino, FL and Afghanistan. I had the Beetle Bags from Corbin, they were good, but the K-Drives are going to be less expensive, some have gotten the Leatherlykes as well.

Welcome from Texas. I bought my leather saddle bags from leatherneckjim. and they've held up very well for four years with no sagging and I use either the ghost or ez brackets (can't remember which one's there about the same). When you take the bags off there's no bracket to be seen.

snuffy already said it and others also advocate hard bags for maintenance free riding.
Ive the OEM leather paniers and wouldnt think of going elsewhere.
Leather has a response to weather and sagging bags is a no-no They sure need some under-wire bra support. The Pannier Embellishers rails along with a set of Flipmeister inserts will bring ole saggin bags back to pert and upstanding, and pert
Flipper also has a leather salve that is great to preserve and restore the leather paniers.

With the weather getting worse here in WA I was only able to get out on the Rocket a few times after I got it. If it clears up just a little I will be out on the road ASAP. I have opened the thing up a few times and all I have to say it WOW. The power is there when you need it but when you want to just cruz you can do that too. I have found that I cannot drop it to far down into the corners like I do my Buell Ulysses but it handles great.
