Hello from New Zealand - 2004 Rocket III - Project Bike
With it being an '04 it would probably be good to hear from the guys that have a good feel (so not me) of what things to watch for or replace on an early model.
Have fun ... sounds like a good project.

It's a tad ironic that you would almost be better off if the bike had 30,000km on it as that would most likely mean it would have had all the upgrades done to it. Great idea though. I especially like this one from the link @Wrecka posted.
