Hello from Missouri !

OMG....Get off that thing and let the motor cool down. Do you only stop for a tire change under the yellow flag? Lol

Yup, gone through a few changes. Imagine if I could ride year round... Going to miss RAA 10 since lodging is now an issue because I DID NOT want to trailer. Solving that by biting a bullet and getting a chock for my snowmobile trailer. Still hate to trailer anywhere. No,way I could ride out of Northern Michigan for an event in April. And I hate missing these. Too many good people to meet.

Another Aussie welcome mate

Nice looking bike and it looks like you have some type of aftermarket fairing in the second picture. I know what you mean about having something a little different. When I had the Valkyrie I was the only one and I have never seen a Rocket where I live. I had to laugh when you said the wife didn't want you to have more than one bike. My wife is just like that and it doesn't help matters that she doesn't like motorcycles. She tried riding behind me years ago and decided it wasn't for her. She knows it's in my blood and I'm never going to give it up so she tolerates my love for bikes. I had been going on a yearly road trip that would last for 8 or 9 days but I think I'm done with those for a while. My circumstances changed this last year when both of my elderly parents passed away 3 weeks apart from each other. My 91 year old father had terminal intestonial cancer and my 93 year old mother had advanced demenchia. My winter project is trying to work my way through all of their personal belongings. Once I get that accomplished I have a house to sell. Once the house sells if all goes well I will probably let my wife have the kitchen remodeled and then I may get me a new bike.

Trailer for sure be the best way for you to come to Marble Falls, AR.
To save time and motels, we be using a trailer for the first time to Enid, OK.

Welcome from Colorado. I know one thing at 63 and after owing several Harleys I would not ever own another. Your buddies will be breaking there banks headed to the Harley store for more HP to even come close to keeping up with you. I for one was tired of walking in to the Harley shop and being told I need to do the big bore kits and cam upgrades. When you pay 20K for a bike it should already have the HP to pull out and pass someone without hoping like hell it doesn't come apart when you downshift it 2 gears to pass. Just my 2 cents worth
Yes I will admit I wasn't to happy having to spend more money on my $24,000.00 Ultra. When I first got it the heat was so bad I could hardly stand it. After removing the cataletic converter, changing the pipes, changing the AC and putting a PC5 tuner on it I'm pretty happy with it. The point is a person shouldn't have to spend that much money on a new bike to make it run right. How is the heat on the new Rocket's ? The reason I ask is because when I test rode the new Indians the heat was terrible. From what I hear the heat problem effects most of the new bikes because of the strict EPA guidelines.

Hey!
What else would be expected when one straddles atop a large motor?! :cautious:
They ain't comfy cages! That's the whole point!
Now that I think of it, a scooter would likely be cooler on the legs.:p
