Welcome from West Michigan ! Nice looking rides. How about a pic of that V-65 ? I had a couple 1983's myself. May still have some odds and ends laying around.

I kind of have it buried in the garage at the moment. As a matter of fact if you were to look at the picture of the VTX that has the engine led lights on right behind that you see something covered in a tan cover, that is the original 83 Magna I bought used when I graduated high school in 86 which I use as a parts bike now, and right behind that you can see the windshield of the Magna I am slowly working on. One of my all time favorite bikes it was a blast to ride. Every once in awhile when I'm feeling nostaligic I'll give what is the parts bike now a tap on the seat and thank it for not killing the 18 year old me lol. I am in Harrison Michigan myself. It's kind of right between Mt. Pleasant and Houghton Lake.

Friends of ours used to have a cabin in Harrison. Used to do some dirt riding there. Is the Leotta tavern still open ?

Yes it is. It used to be called the Riverside bar but a few years ago it was bought and renamed The Trails Inn Pub. The new owners put a lot of money into upgrading it. It's a pretty busy place for basically being out in the middle of nowhere. I had one of the funner local radio station sponsored bike nights of the season there this year. They get a big snowmobile crowd in the winter also.

Welcome follow Michigander.....but stay away from the Coldwater area as I have the only rocket for miles around and I want to keep it that way. How else can I Bedifferent! Lol
