Australia mate, but don't let that stop you I have sent many brand new TORs exhausts and Used screens around the world including USA and Russia etc. I have bought a few guards and bits like heads etc from the USA before too and a brand new red stripe tank from the UK so know what freight can cost both ways.

Another Aussie member and mate of mine @Mittzy sent a set of Tins to @Rocket Scientist last year in the USA too, so I will see how he sent them and cost estimate.

I would be interested in at least looking into cost if you are serious.

Yeah Mittzy thought it cost about Au$300 Australian (US$210) to send from here no idea what it would be from your end. Obviously I would cover that cost and your postage too, otherwise there is no point to your offer as you can just repaint yours if you want to. I am happy to proceed if you can get an estimate of you shipping cost I would have to cover. Obviously I am looking at cheapest option even if I have to wait a bit longer. USPS may handle a parcle that sze but I may be stuck with UPS or similar that can be deal killers - NO SUPER EXPRESS PRIORITY RUSH needed for me! ;):D

I will have to get all the tanks and bits out to photograph but can guarantee a set with no dents. I have a few other colors of undamaged guards and sidecovers too so if you are going to re-paint I could send the best of all my pieces to reduce prep time. Is there any problem with Classic two tone guards? To save weight I would only send the guards and not the fittings like badgework on front as it has to be removed to paint anyway and the inner steel frame on rear guard. Tanks will need to be flushed and completely gas smell free to get through postage etc so need to remove all fuel pumps gauge senders etc well before so it can dry out etc. and then plug holes to ensure smell trapped but leaving a breather hole so tank cannot pressurize in aircraft hold etc.

On one of my two spare Phantom Black tanks there is a wear through to white undercoat on one tank where the instruments pressed down on full lock with an aftermarket set of handle bars. The other is perfect.

It’s probably all going to come down to time constraints for me. I’ll make some calls and see how long I’d be without tins. If it’s too long I will probably pass because riding season is just around the corner.

Welcome from up in Marion. On my 2nd Rocket, crashed the 05 a couple of years ago. Not a lot of us here in Iowa. I am waiting for all of this snow to melt and the sand to clear the streets so I can get back at riding. Enjoy the Rocket.

No worries you can ride it Orange till next fall and then do the deal;) :D
or I can bundle mine up and post next week (it is not like I need them any time soon;)).

They would get to the US in a 3 days or less from posting but up to another week with US Customs and USPS etc. You would have them in about 7-10 days from posting. I am not too concerned if yours take a month of so to depart USA, the real issue is what is shipping cost from your end and you packing them up to ship.
Plus I need to give you something for your effort and trouble. Cash is fine but if there is anything else you may like I may have it in my 'Tardis' like shed or am pretty good at locating stuff worldwide. ;)

I am also very happy to wait till your late Fall to do the deal or winter to get the Orange bits shipped back here. Whatever and whenever is fine with me as I am still planning to be here for a few years.;)

Bought a 2005 Rocket 3 Classic last spring. Its got a 210 HP kit from Carpenter on it. Thing is stupid fast. Thought I would get on here and get help with what to buy and where to buy it while the bike is in storage for the winter. Hoping to do some longer trips next summer. Main things I'm looking for are a windshield, which seems to be a slightly difficult thing to find for the Rocket and luggage. Look forward to chatting and getting to know more about these beast.
Hi Kenneth, welcome from West Yorkshire uk, I'm new here also and it's great. Good set of people on here . Enjoy your beast. Mick

The tins are already off the bike and at friends house. I will be over there this weekend and can send you some pictures of them.
