Hello from Chatham, UK

Hi Malcolm B , welcome to the forum , Mick from West Yorkshire.

Hello Malcolm B from Chesterfield UK.
There is a Resource tab which has maps that can be downloaded via TuneECU - lots of posts available that explain what to do. If you do not plan on changing the header or air intake or needing any more ponies then you could leave her as standard, therefore no need for TuneECU, although you can interrogate the EMS and look at settings and problem codes.

BigNorm mentioned that it is a good idea to sit on your hands for awhile and try the big girl out first. The key thing to keep in mind is that it is not cheap to make changes and therefore it makes sense to do things only once.
There are plenty of people on here that use their Rocket for 2 riding so they will give you advice with specific questions.

I found that I needed to ride her for several trips covering about 1000 miles before I started to get to grips with what things I wanted to change.

Again as others have said just get out and ride and watch out for the huge grin factor - the biggest problem I see for you is the weather - I hope you manage to dodge the rain, wrap up warm and you will have a great time.

Welcome Captain Malcolm from Maine in the USA. AS others have indicated, ride it for a while, being mindfull of the full power of the beast, she can bite. If you have a mindset to see what she can do, you may want to have a spare set of drawers in your top box.

Welcome from Utah USA. I agree with taking your time to get to know it a bit. In my case it took about five days. . I put some rivco risers on, and added a tachometer right off. It took me about a year to get brave enough to mess with the ECU maps.
Have a blast it WILL grow on you!!! And you will find everything you need right here, this forum has saved my butt more that once.
