- 2018 Triumph Rocket III Roadster Phantom
My name is John, I live in a small town in Tennessee called Rogersville.
My first real street bike was a 76 Triumph Bonneville 750 back in the early 80s and since then I've had mostly metric with a Harley mixed in there. I've always said my first bike was a Triumph to my last bike will be a Triumph and I've always wanted a rocket 3 since the day they came out.
A few weeks back I found this forum and asked if there was any issues with the R3T. I was interested in buying one I had my eye on but wanted to make sure i would not regret it. Thanks to all the great feedback I received I did decide to purchase it, a 2014 R3T and I LOVE IT!!!
Only issue I have is I have to make sure bike is pointing straight BEFORE I crack the throttle. If not straight she will snap that back tire loose and start coming around which in turn causes my butt to turn my drawers into a thong. LOL A whole lot of torque.
I was wondering if this forum has a Facebook page as well?
