Ok just so you know you do not have to pull the engine to change the head.
Head bolts Yes as the OEM ones are stretch bolts and according to Triumph get renewed.
Head Gasket Yes make sure you buy for the newer ones.
Valve Cover depends on the shape of the one you Take off. Same with the washers.
Yes you will have to take the front cover off Unless your not planing on changing the timing gear guides and have a scope to insure your timing marks are line up. of course you might be able to see that thru the inspection hole I am not sure.
You do not have to pull the engine to change pistons either. No matter whether you do it the Triumph way or the fast easier way from the bottom end.
That is a great price on the engine I would have been bidding on it had I known about it. Even if your shipping it to Hawaii. If you change your mind or run into trouble getting it shipped let me know I will buy it from you.[/QUOT sorry quick question Mate. Did you say you don't need to drop the motor to change Pistons , hence lower case can be split ? with motor in place? If so what do you have to remove ie swing arm ?. I don't want to high jack the thread is there an existing thread with step by step breakdown. I'm replacing gearbox shifter knuckle
