Head count for RAA - Wytheville VA 2017

OK.....Guys....I walked around my short block yesterday......2.7 miles

84* and 66% hum..........new record..........55 min. to the second......and yes I pushed hard.....heart and lungs has not worked that hard in 15 yrs..................LOL

The OL'Rocket has been inspected.....new tags bought yesterday, 5 days ago...a full year of Ins. put on it

I think I will be able to ride.......no matter how hot

Going to ride for the first time today in nearly 3 years....it feels like......truth I think it was in April 2 years ago......Heck not sure about that either.

I may be out. highsided at 45mph yesterday in Virginia Beach. i'm bruised and a little skinned doing ok. no idea how bad bike is. will keep you guys posted.

Man you weren't down around that new outlet mall were you? I heard the traffic was really bad as it was their grand opening. Glad you fared out ok. I hate hitting the asphalt heal quickly my friend.
 
Well.....Every one. I got the Rocket out of the shed today...put new tags on...aired the tires....Oh now I know why it was so hard for me to pull the Ol'girl out of the shed.....air pressure was down to 10 psi in both tires.
Filled it up with gas and rode some today....was just north of Oxford ....happened to look back toward Durham, the clouds looked bad....So made a turn around, headed home. Running apx. 80 mph just to keep up...almost home.
when it started to sprinkle...a...bout 2 miles from the Butner exit closest to Falls lake...I hit the hail storm....no rain suit.
I am still a Woo Woo....up to a 1/2 inch hail..made me slow down fast....I got down to the over pass and park it for about 20 min. then rode home in the rain..

Great Ride....good time......Happy times are here again.

Whingnut.......

Have you felt like looking at your bike.....yet??? If so how bad....what few times I've high sided it hurts you way more than the bike.

Now I have only done the high side tricks.....on dirt trying to motocross......I was way to tall to play in that sport.

Next how are you after a few days.....Most of the time it takes that long for all the damage done to you to show up...
