Has anyone seen a modified, ( or "modded" ), a bear claw?

They are different.

Fair enough, I stand corrected, but I was almost sure we had some guys running an Ozclaws on tourings and I run one on a standard. As far as I know Les only makes one version, but I could be wrong about that as well

Maybe I am mistaken but they looked different in manual. The touring is held on with two pins that slide back into grommets and held in place with a bolt in the front. I think the Roadster is held on with two bolts. It would be cool if we could make the roadster work. I like the look of the Ozclaw.

sorry to say but my bearclaw is for roadster

I'll happily take it off your hands if your willing to post to Oz. Happy to pay plus postage by Paypal as a 'gift' payment with no fees. I know Canadian postage anywhere international is a killer but somebody painted mine black like other bits on my 2010 Roadster and when I have removed scratched paint on some items already, the chrome had been scruffed up. I like the option of changing the look and have front and rear red striped guards to fit now too. I hope to end up with a chameleon Rocket that doesn't necessarily stick to any one version.

Yes. I've heard that. I will do that. I want mine to last. Since we're on that subject, tell me about putting the covers on, when it rains? I just ordered my K&N's. They haven't been delivered yet. Thanks.

Hi I don't use covers at all. If I leave the bike outside when on holiday and it looks like rain I put a rubbish bag over them, otherwise just leave them be the oil stops the water flowing through quite well, hence keeping the filters oiled.

I was told, and have read, that the bear claws are different between Tourings and Roadsters. I got the part number today, and confirmed it with a Triumph dealer, ( for the Touring bear claw ). I just want to thank "albertaduke" for offering to help me out. Wish I could've taken advantage of his kind offer. I'm still interested in getting one, and am willing to pay for it. Thanks.
