Harley Davidson Reveals ‘MOST POWERFUL PRODUCTION BIKE EVER'

You can take a Harley above the Rocket 3 in power and torque but the modifications will cost what a new R3 would, plus the cost of the base Harley to start with. But it won't be as reliable or low maintenance. Still wouldn't cost 110 grand though.

HD has gone off the deep end. That has to be at least $50,000 too high. Then it's got all the weight of a full wiring harness, infotainment, safety gear, lights, blinkers ,horn...
Certainly not a copy of the race bike. But watch them sell them all. Crazy.

That's what put me off the baggers. All that weight on the bars from that loaded fairing (and the price..). Not everyone wants a built-in hi-fi system and Goldwing-levels of buttons to play with, just a fairing that works without having to opt for the cramped riding position of the Low Rider ST. Harley don't give buyers that option.
The fairing on the Sport Glide would have been more than enough for me but they only offer that bike with a 107" engine. If it came with a 117 mill I would have bought one.

I find that a lot with Harley's range. There's bits I like on every bike but they never seem to put them all together in one model.

Strange you should say that about the weight of a baggers fairing etc. Before I returned to the Rocket family, I had a Yamaha Royal Star Venture 1300.
The fairing apart from being made really thick plastic, there was also a Radio and a separate 1990’s Cassette player, speakers and the Speedo. It also had a double helmet top box also really thick plastic with two speakers, a heavy passenger back pad and under that a CB radio.
I had the top box off while cleaning it and decided to weigh the top box, 25 pounds! No wonder the bike was so top heavy!
