Handlebar risers for Classic III

Thanks. Yeah I have the Touring-specific Rivcos myself and they made a huge difference. Only had to reroute the clutch cable (and then I bought a new, longer clutch cable after a while). But the Touring is fundamentally quite different to the dual-headlight models, engine aside.

I gave up, bought the rivcos instead. Fit really good. The Rox might work on a classic tho, I have the standard Rocket, 2007.
I came to the conclusion that the Rivco would be better to - I looked at my R3 classic yesterday and the cables brake line looks like there is no play/length extra - did you have an issue with any cable lengths or does it fit OK without any issues? I hope not as I really want to get some

I have the same bike with the Rivco risers and no problems. You need to move the brake block using the small bracket that is provided in the kit, really easy. I had an issue getting the old risers off so I took it to the dealer to finish off, I think it was only a 1/2 hour job so not too bad really.
I am 5'9"" or so and the riding position is greatly improved! You still have to be a bit careful raising the tank but I found it just squeezes past. If you find it a bit close just loosen the pivot (for the tank by the seat end) and slide it out a bit. If you do this to access stuff under the tank, create a reminder for yourself that you removed the pin, I forgot and the tank slipped (full of fuel of course) and caused a bit of chaos %^*#!

Brilliant - I'm 5'10 so sounds like it will work for me too - thx so much, Chris
