Well, I'm embarrassed because it's been almost 2 years since I posted initial comments on the Hippo Hands.
I use them whenever the temperature is below 50-55F, with good results. They really make a huge improvement in hand comfort. They need some kind of structure inside, to prevent them from pushing back against the handlebar levers. I use small hand guards year round, so that is taken care of.
I put the set I have on my Rocket on Tuesday to ride to work as was around 3C and foggy.
I had planned to ride to a funeral a 100 miles away. For a workmates wife at our other branch.
GM said don't ride your bike you can get a ride down with some other staff.
Luckly for me as I had put the mitts on wrong and was pulling the front brake on.
Only noticed it on the way home hauling rrrs down the motorway when the revs went rocketing up and the speed didn't.
Thought WFT throttled off and front dropped down and no engine brake did that a few times before I thought push the leaver oh bugger. Rode about 3 miles to get off motorway adjusted it and it's fixed.
Well at least the brake pads are bedded in now.
Will look at getting some guards to stop it happening again
Been using ordinary 'ol national cycle hand guards since I've had the Rocket
Great for errant galahs and rocks from road trains. Made the brackets from a but of 1/8 steel plate.
Where is the head shot? @RKTNMYPKT
If that collar around your wrist is to stop you 'spanking the monkey' when riding, you must be wearing the matching neck collar to stop you licking your ba!!'s too?

I got a pair of black Fiberglass front Fender Extenda and some 1.5" dia brackets for my T-bars converted from another brand and models accessories. But then another option that just came up was some NOS Triumph OEM Carbon Fiber accessory exhaust guards for a 2004-6 Speed Triple (From VIN 210445 to VIN 461331). Symmetrical Left & Right in top quality CF. Some places in USA list for $179, I stole them for just $10
One reference suggested they fit a wider model range but not my Sprint ST 1050 in either stock triple underseat can outlet or with the Mega Mouth Two Brothers one on there now.
Not as cheap as mine but here is another set for half price.
