In my case the bolts were mixed. Thread locker was on both bolts on the port side, and none on either of the two bolts on the starboard side. Go figure.

I ordered four replacement bolts in Ti from Pro-Bolt.

And I note for the Hagons, the top yoke is the same size as the bottom, and so much smaller than the top on the OEM, so now the washers and bushings at the top look out of place.

Not all bolts are created the same. Did some research on this and figured it out. Some threads are designed to go in one time and only one time in order to lock in. Used on brake calipers and other critical safety parts all brands not just Triumph. Sure enough lock tight blue works but for safety reasons the manufactures recommended one time use.

I've just recently fitted Ohlins rear shocks to the bike.
Robert Taylor and Dennis Shaw whom I was dealing with at Kiwi Suspension Services in New Plymouth (NZ) were excellent, very knowledgeable Professional people.
When fitted I found the springs just a tad to firm, I discussed this Dennis and sent me another set to suit.
Went out for a good ride last week, did about 150Km's over various roads, to sum it up, it was a magic carpet ride.
Very smooth and stable.

I also ordered a set of Race tech springs along with Ohlins oil for the forks, but haven't fitted these as yet.

@Paul Bryant
Keep us posted on how the Ohlins work.
I've known of mixed results . . .
Hey where is your peg feeler??!!??!!

I'm running a stock '07. Yes in slow traffic in warm weather it can be toasty. But at any speed over walking pace I'm fine.

O.K. will do.

Foot peg feeler ?
In the box of crap that I don't use :D

Paul if you’d be so kind, would you mind posting the part number you installed? Sorting through the Ohlins catalogue is more tedium than even I can stand (and I can do some pretty tedious ****e).

The only reason I’ve Wilber’s instead of Ohlins is the insanity that is their mess of an online catalogue.

PS: Love the screen mounting system instead of the Triumph insanity brackets, very sleek. Also the blacked out touches you’ve added.
