Gt out in the wild

I fail to see how the GT isn't a touring model comparable to the R3T tbh.

Forward controls, factory bags, back rest for passenger, luggage rack optional. Hell this one has built in GPS, built in Phone handling, Built in heated grips, Cruise Control and better MPG (even if the tank is 1.4 gallons smaller). Replace pegs with boards, add highway pegs and use bar risers, just like so many do on the current bike. Add a big barn door like so many people do, and while it'll not LOOK like a traditional touring bike, does it not achieve exactly the same thing?

The hard reality is, the R3T was a terrible touring bike as delivered. It becomes fantastic with just a tiny bit of work, exactly like the GT's potential.

looks like a cross between and duc and a hd, doesn't do it for me, at least from the left side
