Greetings! (Wall of Text Warning)

WELCOME and congrats on your fine Roadster!
Why not add your location and bike year & model under your avatar?
Your Bolt is a nice looking little motor and I sure hope you get to ride it more than I do my former bike, which has largely remained ignored since the Roadster moved in! :(

While I know this is a necrobump for this thread, I didn't want to reopen a new one.

After lurking around these forums since my initial post last summer, I test rode the R3R in October 2014 and I knew I needed to start saving. I went to the dealer yesterday and after another test ride, and 5 hours later....

I look forward to participating more on the board, I'm sure I will continue to lurk! :ninja:
You're gunna luv it mate!!

Hello again Anthony and welcome back from Virginia. I hope you become totally attached to that bike and it doesn't go neglected while the weather cools down some. It is below freezing here this morning and I'm about to go fire him up for the blast to work and I can't wait for the exhileration!

Another welcome from the UK. Nice bike, just take it easy as there's a lot of power that needs a lot of respect = loads of grins.

Thanks again everyone for the warm welcome!

I just went ahead and added my location! I have only seen 1 other Rocket in my area in the last few years, lets hope there a few more out there. I traded in my Bolt for the R3 unfortunately, I really loved that bike. Put near 16k miles in just 3 short riding seasons. It was hard to see her go, but at the same time once I rode away on the new ride, it wasn't all that hard ;)

As for the weather here...I am just north of Chicago and Fall is definitely here. Although it was actually very nice yesterday and today and I was able to get out and enjoy a good 3-4 hour ride. I plan on trying to ride as long as the weather allows me!

I cannot believe the amount of power on this motorcycle. I am reading the threads where people have turbo'd and supercharged, I cannot even imagine what it is like. I think I am ok for now with just the stock power haha :D

I purchased mine in March and I haven't stopped laughing since. Best bike I have ever owned. Welcome from Cape Cod, MA.
