Greetings from Sunny Singapore

Hello John and welcome from Virginia. I have been to many countries and I rank Singapore at the top for the food and cleanliness there. The singing foundation of the Merlion, botanical garden, and the zoo are tops in my book. I'm just wondering where you will a chance to ride the Rocket like it needs to be ridden...
Hey boog, sad to say, you are absolutely right. The only consolation to that is that I go to work early in the morning and it's a smooth 15mins on the freeway. More importantly, I do make trips to Malaysia up north and there, I'll be able to really test out the engine with less worries.

Anyway judging from what you say, you have probably visited Singapore sometime back. The changes is scary even for a local like me. You would probably be as amazed with the new Gardens by the Bay and Resort World Sentosa (with all the Michelin restaurants)

I've had the pleasure of staying in Singapore quite a few times also John - used to travel there on business, either directly in Singapore or stop-over en-route to/from Malaysia
Had a lovely stop-over at a Spa Resort on Sentosa Island one time - VERY nice! :D

Yes it was a while ago, back in 2000 before the Carrier Pier was built.

Kuala Lempur is the only place I ever ate something that made me sick. I ended up having four invasive procedures because of it. And people were not nice to us then either unlike Singapore where everyone welcomed us wonderfully.

John - so you guys still pop into Malasia to "play". When I was in Singapore it was really very hard to find anywhere to "use" a large engine.

Definitely right on that! The only place we could really allow the engine to breathe would be Malaysia. A good stretch of road along the north-south Highway.
