Greetings from Iceland

Welcome Ragnar from Exotic Idaho. Well I thought Idaho was Exotic, but I think Iceland and New Zeeland kind of top it.

With your second gear popping out you will need to get that fixed. It takes an Up-Date Kit T1000008 which was cheap for a while but has become expensive and may not even be available any more. Some of our members have several on hand. maybe we could get one of those guys to let loose of one of their extra ones for you. How about it guys ?

Black Engine
Triumph T1000008 - Best Price on Triumph KIT, UPGRADE, X-SERIES Parts at BikeBandit.com

Silver Engine
Triumph T1000009 - Best Price on Triumph KIT, UPGRADE, X-SERIES,SLV ENG Parts at BikeBandit.com

Only difference is the color of the paint on the back cover that comes in the kit. I guess you could paint it the other color if you can only get your hands on the color you don't have.

If we could the kid needs one for his 07. I test road it and its jumping iut if second gear. Verified detent spring is still intact. Actually omly need half iress if the update kit the rest is a big pile of dung. Although he has the older cam guide and is about out of travel on the tensioner. A new guide and chain will take care if that

Welcome from the UK Ragnar. There have been a couple of similar posts over the years re laid up bikes and bad running. With a bit of patience I'm sure you'll find all you need on here plus the members are real friendly and helpful so you should get plenty of pointers.

Ragnar, welcome from Maine, USA. Good luck resolving your issue, the guys here will help you sort it. Patience and persistance.

Hoopla
