Great Price for Bridgestone Exedra Max (in Oz)

Without any catches. I was going to buy online in the USA. Went to Chris and asked him to come within $100 if possible. If you factor in the cost of fitting the price isn't much more than US prices. And the south coast is a great ride from anywhere.

4of us in Brisbane got a rear BS from Motorcycle Parts, Discount Motorcycle Tires, Motorcycle Gear, & Motorcycle Accessories in the states each cost $200 and had it fitted for $22, $222 all up is good..... And I love the tyre, put 450klms on it today, no wheel spin at all.... Fantastic

I can get the Bridgestone rears for $295 fitted here in Adelaide.

As long as its the exedra max that should be good value.that is what i paid for one six months ago

Yep, good price now that the filth are defecting bikes with darkside rears I have to use a bike tyre again

Where in Adeaide , Lofty , do they do them for the tourer , i'm going to be needing front and back shortly .

What other tyres have you guys who own the tourer used , i've only used the metzlers i'm getting 7-9 thousand out of the front and finding they start cupping before they wear out , but getting around 7 thous out of the rear ,

Looking for something that gives better mileage .

Lofty - would be MOST interested to learn under what regulation they are being defected... because I am almost certain there is NO regulation prohibiting them. Can you find out what it actually says on the ticket??

Even with the excedra max I have found a tyre service in Brisbane refusing to fit the tyre to the r3 claiming that his insurance company would not cover him if there was a issue with the tyre .he claims the reason being that the tyre was not designed for the rocket.

WHAT A DROPKICK

Funny you mentioned that Pete as I was told that on my way back from HB trip by a dealer in NSW and more recently here in Vic, same words, tyre not designed to go on the Rocket and they could get in the sh!t for doing it.
Sounds like nonsense to me all the same. So what bike was the tyre originally designed for then ??
