No mention of oiling cables in the Triumph service manual.

I would say they all have Jesse unless modified but most quality cables these days would be nylon lined. Not sure about those Chinese imports though.

Hey Uncle Jesse,
What do you think of the dealer in Lex KY? Anybody there to be sure to use...or not....for service? So far I've been stuck on hold trying to contact the service dept AND the parts department.

My biggest problem with Lexington was they did not have enough mechanics they only had 1 triumph mechanic they now have 2 certified triumph mechanics. I understand from some other people that it has speeded stuff up. Used to have a month wait time "ridiculous" My bike is out of warranty now I do my own work

yeah, mine's out of warranty too, but I've got a miss when I'm wrapping out the gears....calls for more expertise than I can muster I'm afraid

Have you checked with Kingsport, Tennessee looks about the same distance if not a little closer than Lexington for you, it's been a while since I've been over there but they used to be pretty good they sold Suzuki and Triumph
