Once all my pepper turns to salt i'll consider the CHiPs look of screens , my missus even told me the small screen looks dorky WTF ????
 
Your only as old as the bike you ride or the screen on that bike

That's a coincidence that you say that ,the first time I saw my Touring in black and white with the driving lights front and back bars panniers footboards and Poppie screen I thought it looked a bit like a CHIPS bike from the movies, only bigger!
 

And to add to that, I got my first heated gloves in Dec '10 and this last winter whimped out and got a heated vest. Now I'm thinking about heated grips, what is the world coming to?!?
 
I'm fine with the grandfather look. Also, you get the incredulous look, when you leave them behind.
