My dealer stated much the same when I had mine repaired...they also implied that it was 'not uncommon' to see on the R3's and they fixed it under warranty without checking with Triumoh Oz first so i reckon it's pretty safe to assume its a common fitting problem...

Bike fixed under warranty, no problems. Hoping to order a new bike tomorrow, just need to make sure SWMBO isn't going to blow her own gasket if I do lol.
