All good advice.
I may do a new throttle before next year, not sure yet. The goals I had in mind for my bike are
Daily Driven bike that I can run mid-deep 9s in street configuration without impacting the cornering ability or operation in any way with "race only" parts.
What I don't want is a drag bike that I can ride daily.
There is a subtle but distinct difference. I've owned race cars that could be street driven, it sucks to daily lol.
@IMFASTTOO Nice write up. I was doing FAT burnouts before the runs, rolling the bike onto the sides of the tire, so they were definitely warmed up. Im pretty confident in blaming the track prep or low temps, tire broke loose at 53% throttle at 3500 RPM. Really shouldn't have spun on a prepped track with VHT down.
Strapping the front end crosses the line from street into dedicated race vehicle, nothing wrong with doing it, but I won't do so. I don't really have wheelie issues, because I don't chase the throttle out of the hole and I don't pop the clutch.
Was trying to shift at 8K, but habits lol. Going to take some time to relearn the new noise, I'll have to get my shift light actually installed before the next event!
