Just fitted a GIpro Gear Indicator with built-in Advanced Timing Retard Eliminator. It seems to give better throttle response and claims to remove output limitations. It certainly seems to make a difference and is excellent as a gear indicator (easy to fit,set up and looks good). Has anyone longer term experience with these things. I'm especially interested in how to set up the ATRE (which can be set to function in any combination of/or all gears except neutral when it switches off). Which would be the best settings for the Rocket or do I just set to work with all gears? I assume I would need to 'switch off' the ATRE when putting the bike in for service as it would muck up the diagnostics. In fact any tips would be greatly appreciated.
