Hi All

Just fitted a GIpro Gear Indicator with built-in Advanced Timing Retard Eliminator. It seems to give better throttle response and claims to remove output limitations. It certainly seems to make a difference and is excellent as a gear indicator (easy to fit,set up and looks good). Has anyone longer term experience with these things. I'm especially interested in how to set up the ATRE (which can be set to function in any combination of/or all gears except neutral when it switches off). Which would be the best settings for the Rocket or do I just set to work with all gears? I assume I would need to 'switch off' the ATRE when putting the bike in for service as it would muck up the diagnostics. In fact any tips would be greatly appreciated. :)

(PS this has also been posted on the UK site)

All the best

Yea Ive had it fitted for a while, great gear indicator, not sure if it makes more power, but I ran it with the triple K&Ns off once and noticed that the secondaries were open all the time, I run it in the 4th gear map which is unrestricted, setting 3 on the Gipro.

Hi Keiff
I used a stainless bracket I obtained from Ebay and part of an old GPS mount. Its mounted on the rightmost bolt of the screen strap. I have used the two inner ones to mount a clock and Voltmeter in stainless 'cups' (see photographs). If you have the Triumph heated grips switch it would probably mount above that with a bit of messing about- I have a bar mounted thermometer there. Sorry the pics are a bit difficult to fathom-too much reflection of the bling!!
